[JTND] SANYO Ships Active-Matrix OLED Displays For Digital Camera

[SK Display, a joint venture of Sanyo and Kodak has begun a mass
production of Active-Matrix OLED displays. Currently, the company
produces 100,000 display/month and plans to increase the production to
a million/month by the end of 2003.]

The joint venture manufacturing company SK Display Corporation (SKD)
established by SANYO Electric Co., Ltd., (SANYO) and Eastman Kodak
Company (Kodak) will begin shipments for use in product applications
of the worlds first active type full-color (OLED)* display jointly
developed by SANYO and Kodak.
