NEC, Riken create state of quantum entanglement

TOKYO-NEC Corp and the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research
(Riken) have succeeded in creating a state of quantum entanglement
between two solid state quantum bit (qubit), making a major step
toward the realization of practical quantum computing, NEC said
